Recently, the 16th Sichuan Urology Academic Conference and Prostate Disease Conference, hosted by the Sichuan Medical Association (SMA) and organized by the Andrology Committee of SMA, was held in Suining City, Sichuan Province. The event was co-organized by West China Hospital, Sichuan University and Suining Central Hospital. It attracted urology expert teams from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and other "Belt and Road" countries, as well as urologists and male science doctors from within Sichuan Province.

During the conference, the Department of Urology of West China Hospital hosted the "Belt and Road" Minimally Invasive Prostate Technology Training Class. Focusing on minimally invasive prostate technology, domestic and international expert teams engaged in in-depth exchanges through theoretical teaching, practical operations, and case analysis. This effectively promoted medical cooperation and communication and marked a solid step forward for WCH's Department of Urology in advancing "Belt and Road" medical cooperation.
